MARCH 8, 2015

I had one last meeting with Jean-Marie Horvath. He’s a sound mixer who has worked his magic with Beyonce, Celine Dion, Brittany Spears, and Duran Duran. Like most everyone he loved my verses, but thought my choruses need work: More emotion, more variety, more backing vocal and harmony.

In the afternoon I met my friend Jana in Venice Beach for some ocean time.

Later on Stevie came down and said goodbye. He’s a pretty stand up guy. I’m so inspired to meet people that really care. He brought me so many places I could never go without him and all because he wants me to be the best I can be. Its sounds like a Hallmark card, but he’s rad as hell.

All of the people I met down here were genuinely supportive, and heartfelt in their conversations with me. I like to think of myself as a no-bullshit kind of girl and well, these guys all passed the test of just awesome guys that love music.

One last glorious sunset.
